Reverse the 2021, 30% increase in energy prices
Apparently there has been a very stealthy increase in energy prices of between 20% and 30% this year.The energy companies are profiteering, there is a certain amount of collusion and price fixing, the situation is nothing short of monopolistic. Retail prices MUST be fairly determined and controlled.
It is Government's responsibility to control rogue and unfair pricing from the monopolistic suppliers of the energy industries, and protect the electorate, who have to pay these obscene profiteering prices.

Energy prices are a matter for providers, not the UK Government or Parliament. The level of the price cap itself is set by Ofgem, which is independent of the Government.
You could start a petition calling for a change to Ofgem's role in setting the energy price cap, if that is something you'd like to happen.
