Speed up the License medication process through NICE to help HD sufferers

Petition Details

To try and speed up the process of Licensing medication that are near the end of the trial stages, that have shown success, through NICE to help sufferers of this neuro-degenerative disease.

Additional Information

This is a devastating genetic disease that decimates families all around the world and the UK. The child of any Huntington's Disease sufferer is at a 50% risk of inheriting this disease. This affects adults and children in the cruelest way, its a brain eating disease that costs the NHS and social care £22,000 annually for any 1 person suffering. Licensing this medication would drive these costs down tremendously.
