Petition Action

This Government MUST increase Nhs staff pay and increase funding to the Nhs.

Petition Details

Following the contemptible 1% increase to Nhs pay, in the budget, the government MUST rectify this immediately. Words and gestures are no substitute for proper financial reward for their incredible contribution during this pandemic and their continued service to us all.

Additional Information

The Government need to implement a substantial pay award for all Nhs staff and increase the budgets of all clinical services. It is clear how valuable and much needed the Nhs is to all aspects of our society. It is also clear, how under resourced and under staffed it has become, effecting morale and staff retention and recruitment. If we wish to maintain this incredible service the government need to act now to stop its disintegration, with staff leaving and services being reduced or closing.
