Pay all NHS staff a 3% inflationary pay increase.
It is proposed the NHS will receive a 1% increase in pay. NHS staff have made significant sacrifices in the last 12 months. With inflation due to increase to 1.9% NHS staff should be paid 2% to cover inflation and 1% to show our appreciation as a a society.
NHS staff have worked under enormous pressure for the last 12 months with many working beyond the call of duty. NHS staff have made personal sacrifices, have often lived apart from their families, have provided brilliant support to patients, families and colleagues. Some have paid with their lives. The Government and society as a whole should say thankyou through an above inflation inflationary pay award.
