Petition Action

Make laws and punishment harsher for dog theft

Petition Details

A dog is a member of the family, a best friend and a loved one.
Within the law at the moment stealing a dog can receive the same punishment as stealing property like a phone or a bicycle and it needs to change.

Additional Information

At the moment with lockdown restrictions the price of dogs is sky high and dog theft is out of control.

People are scared to walk their dog or even let it out into there garden.
I was even scared to leave my dog at the groomers. The impact of losing a dog in this way is unimaginable and something has to be done
