Give NHS Workers a Fair Pay Rise
The chancellor announced in the budget a 1% pay increase for the NHS, this is in effect a pay cut as it is below the projected rate of inflation This should be increased to at least 3%
The staff of the NHS have worked tirelessly during the pandemic to save and protect lives and many have suffered mental health issues as a result. The government should respect and reward them by showing the nation’s gratitude with a fair pay increase.
