Cut MPs Salaries from £81,932 to £71,932 and redistribute the £6.5m to NHS pay
By cutting the 650 MP salaries by £10,000 will create an extra £6.5m per year - money which could fund 4,300 nurses and other low paid NHS staff a 5% pay rise (£22,000 a year salary = £1,500 a year extra)
MPs need to do more to honour the hard work of the lowest paid members of the NHS, particularly when you consider their (the MPs) vastly over paid salary. Cutting MPs salaries by £10,000 a year would still put them £33,000 over the national average.
