Make it illegal for a person to drive off after hitting a cat
Make the law the same as hitting a dog, they have to stop until the police or animal rescue centre such as the RSPCA get there.
We just recently lost our cat Thackery, only just 1 and a bit years old. Thackery had been hit by a car and managed to get home before he passed away behind my car. Thackery hadn’t lived his life to the fullest. We rescued him from the RSPCA along with his brother in February last year. Having a cat is just like having a dog, they mean the world to people. A dog means the world to there owners just like cats and it’s not fair that people do not have to stop for a cat.
