Require schools to have a gender-neutral uniform policy

Petition Details

Require schools to have equal uniform rules for both genders. For example an item of clothing should not be banned for male students but permitted for the female and other students.

Additional Information

For example, in one school there is a rule preventing any male student from wearing any type of piercing, the male students who have previously worn piercings have been punished. However, female students are permitted to wear ear piercings. In my opinion this is an extremely sexist rule and in today’s increasingly more accepting society these sexist rules should be put to an end.
