Give nurses and NHS staff a greater pay rise than 1%
Put the money where your mouths are. It's no use praising the NHS during the Covid crisis and then let them down. You've shot your selves in the foot. Actions speak louder than words. Words are cheap. Why not raise income tax by 1 penny in the pound to pay for it.
It's the right thing to do.
