Personal story
I felt compelled to start a petition because of my experience of the school food menu...
When I was having school dinners all I ate was baked beans for a whole year and now I can’t stand the sight of them.

We understand that you are concerned about school food, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Your petition calls for school food to be improved, but then calls for schools to be given independence over setting their own menus, and it is not clear exactly what you want to happen,
The Government sets healthy eating standards for school meals, and we could accept a petition calling for changes to these, but it would need to be clear what changes you want to be made to existing standards.
