Restrictions on reasons for councils taking babies/children into local authority care and to be put up for adoption
Unfortunately, as a knee jerk reaction to high profile cases of child abuse, Local Authorities across Britain are removing more and more children from innocent and capable parents.
Babies are being taken at birth with only 1-20 ever being reunited with their birth parents.
Excuses such as "past/current mental health issues" just one unjustifiable reason being commonly used to sever all contact between a child and it's mother.
Restrictions need putting into place to keep families together and to stop any more unnecessary damage being caused to very capable and loving families and their children.
