Confirm school testing with PCR

Petition Details

Ensure all pupils who have a positive lateral flow test in school have this confirmed by a laboratory PCR test to reduce the effect of false positives and unnecessary isolation of entire bubbles.

Additional Information

The school policy around lateral flow tests should be altered inline with home testing lateral flow tests and lateral flow tests within the NHS which require confirmation with a PCR test. This is causing great disruption in schools and a lack of confidence in testing with parents.
