Make birth control free
Contraceptives should be provided for free on the NHS to combat the alarming rate of unwanted pregnancy.
Unwanted pregnancies make up almost half of all pregnancies, they lead to consequences such as mental health issues, suicide and abortion. The best way of preventing unplanned pregnancy is through the use of contraceptives, however many lower income families may struggle to afford these and as a result have a much higher chance of an unwanted pregnancy.
