UK Parliament Stop Illegal Migrants Entering the United Kingdom.
In 2001, the Home Office estimated the population of illegal immigrants in the UK was approximately 430,000.
In 2013, the Government estimated illegal population in England of around 580,000 and estimated the cost of this group in healthcare provision to be £330 million a year.
Her Majesty's Government has a legal obligation to tackle illegal immigration into the United Kingdom (UK) and to properly protect UK's borders. The substantial illegal population in the UK is adding to the pressures on housing and public services. In 2013, the Government estimated that illegal immigration cost the NHS £330 million per year.
The Government is responsible for protecting UK's borders and must amend any existing laws to give the Government more powers to do this effectively.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
Illegal immigration is already illegal, so we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
