Remodel mental health crisis services across the NHS
Either a separate emergency department specifically for those suffering a mental health emergency, or a dedicated team of staff to support those who have to attend general emergency departments through the long waiting times they face
People are attending A&E departments while experiencing a mental health crisis and are being faced with waiting times that are so long that they leave and attempt suicide, we need better services for these people, for many this visit to the emergency department will determine their fate.
