Put a stop to fines issued to Non parents.
In any law or legislation only a parent with parental responsibility or a legal guardian are responsible for a child. People who do not fall in to these categories, but who do care for the children have no legal rights to the child, yet fall liable to face fines for a child’s unauthorised absence.
I respectfully request that the Government considers this. It is understandable that a legal parent should be held accountable for unauthorised absences, but to punish someone with no legal rights is unjust.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about people who are not parents being issued with fines in relation to the conduct of children, but we're not sure what fines you mean, or who you want to stop receiving these.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
