Petition Action

bring self-defence classes into schools so young women feel safe walking home

Petition Details

I want to petition to the government that self-defence classes be added t the curriculum and in these classes, it should be
. how to escape restraint
. basic awareness of others
. as a male how to make women/girls feel safe if you're nearby

i appreciate any signatures this may get
thank you

Additional Information

the number of women getting attack is on the rise The police recorded a total of 1,316,800 domestic abuse-related incidents and crimes in England and Wales in the year ending March 2019. Of these, 43% (570,581) were incidents not subsequently recorded as a crime. The remaining 57% (746,219) were recorded as domestic abuse-related crimes
i feel that schools should be able to teach self defence to kid
from a young age so they can defend themselves if and when they need to as it could be important in future
