Make public sexual harassment a Criminal Offence in the UK
Make a specific law regarding public street harassment.
Currently sexual assault and rape are offences in the UK. However, sexual harassment has no specific current law. An exceptionally high proportion of people, particularly women, have said they have been sexually harassed, yet very little is being done to combat these statistics. A specific law would allow victims to have the confidence to report such incidents.
