Give the Elgin marbles back to their rightful owners - Greece
Parliament to debate and vote on repatriating the Elgin Marbles to their rightful place in the Acropolis Musium Athens. They were originally stolen by Lord Elgin.
The marbles will look much better in their natural surroundings and the special natural light which Greece has.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The repatriation of an item from the collection of the British Museum is a matter for the Trustees of the British Museum, not the UK Government or Parliament.
You may want to sign this petition calling for a related action:
Allow the Trustees of the British Museum to accept repatriation requests: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/550304
