Criminalise Public Sexual Harassment With Fines.
Criminalise sexist insults, degrading/humiliating comments, or hostile and offensive “sexual or sexist” behaviour towards a person in public areas, schools or workplaces. The police need power to hand out instant fins. Sexual harassment has become wrongly normalised and accepted as inevitable.
97% of women in the UK have experienced sexual harassment. 2.6 million women in the UK have experienced stalking. So many of us have experienced everyday fear and uncertainty while trying to live our lives. It may not be ‘all men’ but it’s 3% away from being all women. feeling safe isn’t a privilege, it’s your right and it can start with us raising awareness of the problem so we can create safer communities. Let’s stop saying ‘protect your daughter’ and start saying ‘educate your son’
