require schools not to open on fridays
ensure all schools and/or colleges are not open on fridays in order to allow students to have a longer weekend.
this will give a fairer balance between working and relaxing for young pupils. it will also give a 4/3 split rather than a 5/2. this is because a 2-day weekend is simply not enough to make up for a 5-day week. students are pressured to work hard all day for 5 days in order to succeed their exams. i understand that learning is essential and should be done as much as possible. however, 4 days will still allow learning to that learning to happen.
