This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Decisions about local traffic restrictions, including whether to create pedestrianised zones and if cyclists are permitted in these zones, is a matter for individual local authorities, not the Government or House of Commons.

You could raise this issue with a local councillor, who represents you. You can use this page to find out who your local councillors are, and how to contact them: www.gov.uk/find-your-local-councillors
