Change the Police, Crime and Sentencing Bill 2021

Petition Details

The Police, Crime and Sentencing Bill promises to be harsh on protesting. Amid fears for women's safety, particularly from police, we need the right to be heard and to protest peacefully. We need to have a voice to express our outrage. We want the government to restore our right to protest.

Additional Information

We believe that this bill will stop any protest that does not comply with the Government's political agenda. Perpetrators of rape may only get 4 years in jail while damaging memorials could lead to up to 10 years in prison. This bill is insensitive and ill-judged.
