Regulate the marketing of electronic cigarettes
Electronic cigarettes are rising in popularity and it is widely accepted by many smokers that that they have been very effective in helping them to give up smoking 'normal' cigarettes.
However, the current trend is to market these as acceptable, safe and even sexy. This is a backwards step to reduce smoking.
Smoking should never be marketed as socially acceptable or 'sexy'.
The advertising of electronic cigarettes should be regulated as tightly as conventional cigarettes.
