Make all CCTV owners upgrade their cameras to the highest resolution
Make it law that all CCTV cameras in the UK are updated and have the highest resolution possible so when crimainals need to be caught they can be identified easier also knowing that the CCTV is actually working will make the public feel safer
We as the public need to feel safer on our streets and I think that having world beating surveillance will help catch who is responsible and also act as a deterrent to criminals knowing they will be seen

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The Government aren't responsible for mandating private CCTV operators on the technology they use.
You could start a petition calling for the Government to fund improvements for public CCTV if that's what you'd like to see happen.
