Review the idea behind a 4 day working week
Follow Spain and seriously review the idea behind a 4 day working week with no impact on money earned by individuals. This would have a massive on quality of life and a positive impact on mental health which has being damaged and probably in the worst situation it has been in for years.
The idea of a 4 day work week is not new and is progressive and forward thinking, there is plenty of data that shows businesses thriving from a change in hours to different working patterns whilst contributing positively to the quality of life and mental wellbeing of the population

We understand that you want to see the idea of a 4 day working week considered, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
UK law places limits on the total amount of time someone can work during a week and the minimum amount they can be paid an hour, but it doesn't specify how many or which days of the week they have to work. This would be a decision for employers.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
