Allow the police in England to use water cannons to disperse crowds during riots
We want the police to have the ability to disperse dangerous crowds in a fast and effective way while maintaining the safety of the officers.
During violent protests or riots the police are the target for the public’s anger and are attacked ruthlessly with bricks bottles and fireworks!
We believe the police should be able to use water cannons to disperse crowds to help prevent injury to officers.
Water cannons are used around the world and are even allowed in Northern Ireland but are deemed to hazardous to use here in England!
Who’s health are they protecting because we belive it’s safer for the officer and for the public if water cannons are authorised!
