To add adverts to social media to promote ways to help with mental health.
I would like you to add adverts to peoples posts about mental health and well-being like you have done with covid-19 and created adverts on different social media platforms but for mental health and good well-being.
I want the government to do something about this because this subject is something that is not talked about often in the news and social media for example the research I have done has shown that social media can affect poor mental health, I have researched on many sites gathered information and statistics to prove that social media is linked to poor mental health and suicides in young people.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
This is a matter for social media platforms, not the UK Government or Parliament.
You could start a petition calling for the Government to fund a campaign to raise awareness of mental health issues on social media, if that is something you'd like to see happen.
In the meantime you might also like to sign these petitions which call for related actions:
'Continue Government funding for national mental health campaigns': petition.parliament.uk/petitions/562359
'Fund a national awareness campaign for mental health in schools': petition.parliament.uk/petitions/553711
