Each Dental practice in Cornwall to have a min percentage of NHS patients
Introduce a criteria that all dental surgeries in Cornwall must meet, which is a minimum percentage of NHS patients at their practice, this should be overseen by a governing body and large fines should be issued for those failing to do so!
In Cornwall and Devon there is a 2 to 3 year waiting list to receive NHS dental treatment, the South West is a poorer area of the Country and the government are failing to ensure NHS dental services are available to all! This must change now, many are suffering as they can't afford private costs.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about provision of dental services is a matter for NHS England and indiviudal dental practices, not the Government or House of Commons.
We could accept a petition calling on the Government to provide funding to increase NHS dental provision in England, or in areas with long waiting lists, if that's something you want to happen.
