Additional Information

The Lychee and Dog Meat Festival is an cruel annual event held in Yulin, Guangxi, China, during the month of June.

Prior to the slaughtering, dogs are held together in tiny crates right on top of one another. One by one each dog is torched, beaten, boiled, skinned and burned alive. This practice has been condemned by millions around the world. This must stop.

The festival began in 2009 and spans about ten days during which thousands of dogs are reportedly consumed.
