Ministers pay should be linked to election promises
At the moment governments make alot of promises but when it comes down to it they don't keep them.
So my proposal is that the governments pay be incentivised against targets which they publically set out themselves before the election campaign (these targets cannot be changed until the next election). We only need to vote for the parties who are setting targets that prioritise the goals we want them to prioritise. The elected government is then financially tied to it's own election promises.
After all this is what employers do and the government are our employees.
