There are now at least half a million vegans in the UK. The UK claim to be a nation of animal lovers, but most people continue to eat and enjoy meat knowing full well that animals are killed for meat. Because of this, billions of land and marine animals are killed each year in the UK.

Additional Information

The truth is that all animal slaughter involves cruelty and death. In the UK, pigs are still being gassed, and animals are killed by throat-cutting.

Putting images of slaughter on meat packaging could help reduce meat sales, help save the environment and help save more animals!
