Classify pet theft as abduction.
Give the essential rights to domestic animals that will protect the pets of owners.
Recent increases in pet theft has highlighted a great error in our legal system. When reporting the theft of a pet, an owner can be ask if there was anything of value taken. This is because pets are only classed as property and with out licensing are property without value. This dose not reflect the way British people see our pets and when one is stolen it is an abduction.
