Safer crossing system at the junction of High Street&Wollaston Road, Amblecote
I want the government to recognise that the crossing just outside of Laser Quest in Amblecote is really dangerous.
This road is busy at the best of times, especially during the morning and afternoon when school children are using it.
This is a busy road, used heavily by school children, and young adults of a local college. There are traffic lights to control the cars, but at no point do all the cars stop so it is safe for pedestrians to cross. This makes it extremely dangerous for anyone to cross. Many cars do drive fast across this crossing and don't stop or slow down to allow people to cross safely.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
This is a matter for Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council, not the UK Government or Parliament. You could start a petition on the Dudley Council website asking them to review this particular crossing, if that is something you'd like to see happen. You can find out how to do this here: http://cmis.dudley.gov.uk/cmis5/E-Petitions.aspx.
You may also like to contact your MP and ask them to speak to the Council on your behalf. You can find their contact details by entering your post code here: members.parliament.uk/FindYourMP
