Force social media platforms to ask for an address when creating an account.
We are looking for Social Media platforms to require a telephone number and/or home address in order for a citizen to create a social media page. No phone number and/or address, NO SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT.
We see thousands of people under fake aliases continue to abuse people on the internet without being held to account. People are committing suicide every single day from abuse at the hands of anonymous people hiding behind fake aliases, whilst never being held to any justice. For the sake of the victims who are no longer here as well as their families and friends, there needs to be a complete rethink into how a social media platform is created before more innocent people are lost.
