Petition Action

Seek reciprocal agreement with the EU on transfer/recognition of UK CAA Part 66

Petition Details

As it stands after 31/12/2020 a UK issued EASA part 66 engineers licence is no longer valid in Europe.

EASA Part 66 transfer to UK is still possible for 2 years, unbalanced.

This has big implications on any UK engineer that has missed the transfer deadline. Unable to certify European aircraft

Additional Information

Currently there is no solution to transfer or any recognition of UK CAA licences to EU.

This petition is to raise awareness to the following.

Seek a bilateral agreement to recognise UK CAA issued Engineering licences.

Provide a roadmap/guidance/recognition of UK issued and UK EASA Part 66 licences.
