Hold a UK wide review of litter policy & policing to make the UK a cleaner place
We need a different approach to tackle litter in our communities. We would like all UK administrations to collaborate to collectively review litter policy - this includes education, community empowerment, funding, policing and enforcement to better solve this national problem.
Litter has been well documented in the media recently but is a systemic issue faced by us all that ignores government boundaries.
Challenging the acceptance of litter & reducing the litter on our streets will make all nations of the UK cleaner & better place to lives.
Better educating & empowering young people will be a key part of tackling this problem, which should start at the youngest age possible.
Exploring the empowerment of communities & economic opportunities will also be key.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The issue of litter policy is the responsibility of local authorities and devolved administrations not the UK Government. You could start a petition calling for a Government review into tackling littering in England, if that's what you'd like to see happen.
