Extend eligibility for free prescriptions to all students in full time education

Petition Details

The government should consider extending the eligibility for free prescriptions to students in full time education.

Additional Information

Many students are living off of their student loan and do not have any help from family to support them. As a result they may not be able to afford to purchase their medication. Students could be spending anywhere between £9 and £27 per month on medications which could be money they spend on a food or their education. If students that are 18 receive it free why should those older and still in education not.
