Make Covid 19 vaccination mandatory for all care staff.
I am aware that this idea is being considered at the moment. I would like it to be debated in the House of Commons.
Currently, care workers have the legal right to refuse to have a vaccine against Covid 19. I feel that vulnerable, disabled people should have an equal right to refuse to be cared for by someone who provides personal care who is not vaccinated.
Disabled and vulnerable people have an equal right to protect their health.
Currently organisations that provide personal care are requiring all newly recruited staff to be vaccinated. This principle should apply to all staff.
