Petition Action

Allow international travel to vaccinated countries from May 17th.

Petition Details

Allow international travel to resume so the travel industry can finally recover after what will be 16 months of no income, restrictions and destruction. Or at least allow travel to vaccinated countries similar to the travel corridor system.

Additional Information

By June, the travel industry will have taken 16 months of no income. It cannot continue. Once you are vaccinated allow travel to at least other countries that are vaccinated too. Travel is not the problem and never has been. Millions in the industry are without pay or have lost their jobs. Please end this. The airlines cannot survive another summer without income. Allow travel to vaccinated countries like the travel corridor system.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We're not sure what you mean by 'vaccinated countries' and whether this is countries that are fully vaccinated or with a specific proportion of their population vaccinated.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
