Ban covid vaccinations for children until the long term effects are known.
As of 4 April 2021, 39 children have sadly died with covid. However, it can not be said that covid vaccinations are for children’s benefit. The reality is that vaccinating children is for the benefit of those vulnerable.
Whilst a small study of the efficacy of the covid vaccine in children is being undertaken, the long term effects are clearly unknown. The vaccine does not benefit children and therefore the precautionary principle should be applied. Children should not be vaccinated until the long term effects have been realised.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand you're concerned about children being vaccinated against Covid-19, however there are currently no plans to offer the vaccine to children.
The Joint Committee on Vaccines and Immunisation (JCVI) has confirmed it has begun studying evidence on the safety of Covid-19 vaccines on children, stating:
"JCVI has started to consider evidence on the risk of serious disease in children, the role children may play in transmission, and the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines in children. Following infection, almost all children will have asymptomatic infection or mild disease. There are limited data on vaccination in adolescents, with no data on vaccination in younger children at this time. As evidence becomes available it will be reviewed and advice offered as appropriate."
