law requirement that food chains have to have a GF menu, for coeliac disease.
I want anywhere that serves food to have a gluten free/coeliac friendly option. It’s a serious life threatening disease and sometimes it’s easy to be caught out and need to stop for food. A lot of places do not cater to Coeliac needs. Leaving people hungry.
To give equal food options to those who suffer from coeliac disease or any allergies similar. When they get hungry while out to be able to have something proper to eat instead of a drink of water and don’t fruit because a lot of the time that’s the only option.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
It is up to individual food businesses, not the Government or House of Commons, to decide what products sell, including whether this includes a gluten-free option.
Food businesses must already tell customers if any food they provide contain any of certain listed allergens, including gluten, as an ingredient.
