Petition Action

Extend Stamp duty holiday till September 2022

Petition Details

I would like the government to extend the stamp duty holiday for another year to help more people get on the housing market or have a limit on it.
Or no stamp duty on houses under £325000 but keep the stamp duty on buy to let Mortgages so we can scrap out renting.

Additional Information

I would like to government scrap stamp duty for another year or put a limit on it anything over £325000 you could keep the stamp duty.
This to allow more young people get on the housing market and gives them more time to save,
instead of renting but if your buying a second home to rent you could keep the stamp duty.
I know it would be good for the government to keep this going and let’s scrap out renting and getting more people to buy.
