Make the existing free parking for Keyworkers permanent or a concession.
Make the existing free parking permit for Keyworkers permanent or consider concession parking permits scheme where Keyworker permits are offered at a 50% fee reduction.
The current cost for a standard visitors/business parking permit in Lewisham CPZ is between £300-600. As a current keyworker the free parking scheme has been a massive help transporting to and fro work, much more safer and cost effective means post the personal and financial effects of COVID-19.As the current CPZ restrictions in the Lewisham area means less access to public transport when crowded and social distancing as well as been more costly. I write unbehalf of myself and many others.
