Reduce the plastic packaging and wastage from COVID-19 home testing kits.
If the government is going to enrol home testing on the whole of the country we need the home testing kits to become more eco-friendly. E.g. a single sealed bag for all the contents rather than several different ones. And the negative tests and contents could be biodegradable or at least recyclable.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The specific packaging requirements for Covid tests will depend on biosecurity and accuracy.
We could accept a petition calling for the Government to fund research to making Covid testing recyclable, if that's what you'd like to see happen.
