Bring a complete ban & halt to ALL sale, manufacture & use of glue traps.
Given the The Scottish Animal Welfare Commission findings we call for the total ban on the sale, use, manufacture & importation of glue traps. There should be no exceptions given in law (given the ability to bypass the law as in the loopholes legislated into the fox hunting ban)
The Commission noted unanimous recognition that glue traps cause animal suffering, causing “significant & potentially prolonged animal suffering” to the target species.
We demand the UK parliament take heed of the above findings & IMMEDIATELY effect the total ban on sales, importation, online sales, manufacture & all other methods of the sale & use of all forms of glue traps.
