Bring back Ceefax
We the undersigned call for the British government to provide the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) with a legal mandate to return Ceefax to television sets across the country, providing the old (and old at heart) with access to hard-hitting news coverage from the comfort of their sofa!
For years now, the BBC have pocketed our licence fee money and yet, many BBC services have been shut down over the years (e.g. BBC Three, BBCi, BBC Store, BBC Box Office, CBBC Box Office, BBC Games, AirBBC, BBC Hotels, BBC Knowledge, Liquid News, BBCloud, and of course the BBC's crown jewel: Ceefax); despite this, the TV Licence fee continues to skyrocket! It is time that the BBC paid attention to the people and brought back the national treasure that is Ceefax!
