Require Social media sites review every post/comment before publication

Petition Details

To prevent offensive comments, including racism, and the spread of fake news, social media platforms should be required to review all posts/comments before publication, so that offensive or false content is not published at all.

Additional Information

At present social media sites only remove content after it has been published, by which time it may already have been seen by thousands of people. If social media sites were required to review posts/comments before they were published, it would prevent harmful content from ever being seen.
