Make it law that checks are made before anyone can buy/adopt an animal.
I want it to be law that anyone purchasing animals has a full background check to ensure they haven’t abused/abandoned animals in the past and that the condition of where they keep them is suitable before being allowed to buy/adopt an animal.
There are so many animals out there that are abused and bought for the wrong reasons putting strain on animal charities. I think it’s wrong and I don’t think it should be allowed for just anyone to be allowed to buy/adopt them. I believe there should be records made when someone has purchased a animal and if they have previously abused or neglected it, it should be noted on a system (similar to DBS etc) that can be checked before they were to purchase another animal.
